Ring K2 floor lamp by Heike Buchfelder for Pluma Cubic
Berlin Architect Heike Buchfelder graduated from Oslo University. As a creative hobby she created ephemeral feather installations in the early 2000s, today producing illuminated feather lighting commercially under her brand Pluma Cubic. Each light can include up to 4,000 bi product goose feathers.
Inspiration: The purity and flamboyance of plumage applied to lighting design
Fabrication: Goose feathers applied individually by hand light onto a cotton covered metal lamp shade fitted to a brushed stainless steel tripod rod support.
