Design inspiration East meets west, Kenzo is a fusion of Japanese and Parisian design currently enjoying a resurgence as a cult brand
Designer Kenzo Takada (b1939 Japan) moved to Paris in 1964 where he became known for his unique east meets west fashion, mixing pattern and colour in his inimitable way, he established his eponymous brand in 1970 expanding it into an all-encompassing luxury lifestyle brand. In 1993 Kenzo was purchased outright by LVMH (Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton).

Fabrication Metal disc base and rod support in matt black. Kenzo signature orchid print silk shades with bonded backing. A frosted glass diffusing disc etched with KENZO. Foot switch. Non dimmable.

Design Consigned Stylist A fine example of Kenzo design. Silky ‘painterly’ shades in rich neutrals of black, gold, silver, grey and white. Style with our set of 10 black wishbone chairs for an east meets west look. Reduce the stem height, or just add the shades by themselves to table lamp bases.

Design Consigned Collector Authentic original Kenzo design, made in France. No longer in production.

Marks of Authenticity Shades wear visible Kenzo seam tags and the glass diffuser is etched with Kenzo.
