Sellers Guide

It Pays To Sell

Design Consigned removes the stress and inconvenience that usually accompanies the on-selling of once loved, but now unwanted, authentic design objects.

All you do is follow these steps:

Click the CONSIGN option in the menu bar and complete the information required and upload smart phone photos [see our photography guide]Β allowing us to appraise / approve your object Β [ as a rule, we don’t consign replicas, reproductions, reupholstered designs, or traditional antiques ]Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β

  1. If approved we will email you with options for a storage or non storage arrangement.
  2. Potential buyers will view your object in the Design Consigned online shop, while we also search in our database for an enquiry match.
  3. Receive news of a successful sale and delivery and receive a % of the achieved sale.Β

Sometimes :

  1. We will seek your approval if:
    • Any professional cleaning is required.
    • The market has changed and the asking price needs to be reduced
  2. If we don’t respond it is because we do not see a market for your object at the current time. The submission will be kept on file as it could match a customer enquiry in which case you will be contacted by our consignment department.
  3. We may have to remove a listing if there has been a breach of theΒ Sellers Terms & Conditions.
