Rare Fin stool by Isamu Noguchi for Vitra Switzerland. Model IN-22, also known as the paddle, or rudder stool. Isamu Noguchi was a Japanese – American sculptor whose skills and artistic passion extended to furniture design. He caught the attention of American George Nelson who also discovered Charles and Ray Eames. The Fin stool was first conceived in 1944 and released in 1948 by Herman Miller to compliment the Noguchi Rudder table (see below).
