2 seater Lady sofa by Marco Zanuso for Arflex

Rare pair of original Lady sofas from Arflex Italy. The iconic 1951 Italian Design by architect Marco Zanuso (1916-2001).

Designer’s Inspiration The Post WWII Modern Design Movement inspired Marco Zanuso to incorporate new forms and materials, such as expanded polyurethane foam, into furniture. “The shape of the Lady is an amalgam of possibilities” “I wanted the shape to have a complexity” said Marco Zanuso of this design.

Fabrication Steel tubular profile base in black industrial powder coat, matt finish. Internal frame with expanded polyurethane padding surround, Cotton piece cover. Wool mix houndstooth weave signature fabric.

Hidden Features This little sofa is sturdy with a good weight to it.
