710 Series leather sofa by Danish Designers Preben Fabricius and Jorgen Kastholm. A polished steel and leather two seater sofa from the 710 series released in 1968 by Walter Knoll. A rare vintage find in excellent condition.

Designers Inspiration The 710 series was marketed by Walter Knoll as ‘conversation seating’.

Fabrication Solid polished flat profile steel frame, full grain thick leather upholstery with French seams and channelled down cushion inserts for even distribution. Padded leather around the armrests.

DC Insider Jorgen Kastholm trained as a blacksmith before studying Architecture in Copenhagen while Preben Fabricius trained as a cabinet maker. They collaborated together designing brilliant furniture for seven years and during this period were invited to create pieces for Walter Knoll. Kastholm later went on to design airport seating for over 120 airports around the world.
