Design Consigned Collector Authentic original, made in Italy. MAXALTO was born in 1975 when Architects Afra and Tobia Scarpa decided to create an ‘in house’ brand for B&BItalia. The first stand alone MAXALTO store was in Paris. In 1993 Antonio Citterio became Creative Director of MAXALTO continuing the design of enduring modern classics using the best technology via B&B Italia’s Reasearch & Development center.
