The Designer’s Inspiration A leather ‘skin’ is hand stitched over, and entirely encasing, a metal rod ‘skeleton’

Fabrication Steel rod frame, polyurethane padding. 16 pieces of cuoio (saddlery) leather individually cut and dyed then stitched together with exposed seams, black rubber ferrules.

Hidden Features The many manufacturing steps and techniques are discretely passed down from maker to maker at Cassina.
