Designed when: Designed for the purpose of conversing, the Gabriela folding lounge chair by Italian Architect Gio Ponti is made today by Minotti under exclusive license using the original notes from the Gio Ponti archives. “To be seated for conversing, little seating and much backrest, tilted just like this, are necessary” – Gio Ponti.

Fabrication: Natural ash wood folding frame with multi-layered panel seat and backrest both covered with natural wicker.

Design Consigned Stylist: The ultimate gift for the Design collector. Famed Italian Architect Gio Ponti designed the portable folding chair for summers on Lake Como.

Hidden Details: Lightweight and generously proportioned, the timber and wicker will darken over time giving an authentic vintage look.

DC Insider: Architect Vincent Van Duysen specified the ‘Gabriela’ chair for the interior of the new Aesop store in Hamburg.

As new, ex display. For sale and priced as a pair. Retail value over $8,000 . SOLD
