He worked for a period in Japan and also in Sumbaya Indonesia acquiring a keen interest in Asian culture and the inspiration to create with rattan which soon caught the attention of Italian manufacturer Driade.

DC Stylist:As nice to look at as they are to relax in. To maintain condition keep indoors or under cover away from sun and rain.
Design Consigned Collector:These cane Agung lounge chairs by Roderick Vos are significant examples of the post 2000 global emergence of Dutch freelance designers led by Marcel Wanders. His contemporary organic designs were heralded as unique and have inspired many since. His work is held at the Design & Arts Museum NYC.
Stamp or Mark of authenticity:Both wear Driade labels
Purchase verification:Purchase invoice provided
DC Insider:One owner who has had little time to use them but enjoyed them more as ‘sculptural pieces’. Since moving they are keen for them to find a new home where they will be admired.
