The famous Eames Segmented table, made under licence in Europe by Vitra Switzerland.

Designed / launched by whom/when: A dining table by Charles and Ray Eames, designed in 1964. The segmented base allowed tables of any desired length and choice of top material to be manufactured more efficiently.

Inspiration: Mid Century American modernism

Fabrication: Aluminium base, high pressure multi layer laminate (HPL) top in white.

Hidden features: The laminate is lightfast, odourless, and stain resistant.

Design Consigned Stylist: A modern classic, this white Eames table suits family home dining or meetings at the office.

Design Consigned Collector: Authentic 2004 original, made by Vitra.
