Designed by whom/when:Designed in 2010 by Studio Patricia Urquiola, produced and launched by Moroso at the 2011 Salone del Milano to great acclaim. This is the smaller version.
Inspiration:Pre seat belts, luxury cars of 1950s American post war Motel era had curvaceous and generous seating offering a ‘sense’ of protection and comfort for modern road trips.
Fabrication:Internal steel frame, mixed density polyurethane foam surround, polyester fibre padding, Grey velour upholstery with spiralling quilt stitch detailing. Polypropylene feet.
Design Consigned Stylist:Add a touch of 1950s Hollywood glamour and on trend curves to your home with a Redondo lounge chair. The jewel like quilt pattern is best appreciated from all sides, perfect for open plan spaces.
