Black Cobra floor lamp by Greta Grossman for Gubi

Description

The Cobra floor lamp designed in the 1950s by Swedish born / California based designer, Greta Magnusson Grossman (1906-1999). Greta maintained a prolific and highly successful design career in a male dominated design industry.

The Designers Inspiration The Californian native Cobra snake surely amazed and inspired Greta to create this lamp with a flexing ‘neck’ and flattened head-like diffuser.

Hidden Features The lamps flexing neck and tilting shade allow unlimited direction, much like it’s namesake !
