Design Consigned Insider Born in Naples Willy Rizzo moved to Paris during the 1950s and became the high society photographer de jour, attending parties in lavish homes. In the late 1960s he moved to Rome and using his accrued knowledge began designing furniture for the βglitteratiβ. The TRG table was designed specifically for the home of socialite Gigi Cassini. “The room was round so I created a round table for Gigi and she served round canapes” – Willy Rizzo.
Provenance Two owners since 1980. Purchased originally for the Burswood Casino Perth.
Condition Report Original 1979 production piece, fully functioning and in good vintage condition with a few scratches, as you would expect (and need for authenticity) on a vintage TRG table.
