Soft Wall three element leather sofa designed by Italian Architect Piero Lissoni for Living Diviani.
Designed by whom / when: In 2001, as Creative Director at Living Diviani (Est 1969), Piero Lissoni responded to the brand aesthetic, that of essential bold designs and advanced internal technology, by creating the Wall. In 2006, Soft Wall was released with gentle modifications, and then later, Extra Soft Wall literally resembling building blocks.

Inspiration: “not a sofa, not a seating system, more like a subtle architectural gesture, a low ‘wall’ dividing a space”

Fabrication: Double panelled poplar and pine frame, mixed density polyurethane foam padding, Ivory New Scotland leather upholstery with subtle capitonne and stitched folded corner detailing, and cushions with air release perforations. Grey powder coat square profile steel base frame with comfort support elastic straps, adjustable PVC feet, Connector hooks.
