moooi Non Random light by Bertjan Pot

SOLD moooi Non Random pendant light in black.

Designed / launched by whom/when: Non Random was created in 2007 by Dutch Industrial Designer Bertjan Pot (b1975) who likes to experiment and ‘see what happens’. Moooi’s Marcel Wanders fully appreciates this design approach and the collaboration between the two has paid off.

Inspiration: a ball of wool, a giant bubble or a Moroccan lantern, it’s had many ‘random’ descriptions but was in fact a result of some computer design play.

Fabrication: Fibreglass soaked in epoxy resin is coiled around an inflated mould, black powder coated aluminium cap, anodised aluminium light reflector.

Hidden Features: Extremely Lightweight

Design Consigned Stylist: This feature light will visually delight viewers but not overwhelm a space, and we love the black version which shows the details vs the white. A contemporary ‘lantern’.
