Lepanto floor lamp designed in 1968 by Luciano Vistosi for Vistosi, Veneto, Italy.

The Designer Luciano Vistosi was raised on Murano, the island adjacent to Venice, where he observed first hand, traditional glass blowing techniques handed down through generations of glass makers at Vetreria Vistosi. Lepanto displays both, pulegoso (a glass finish), and also extreme stretching of the glass into a narrow tall fluted shape .

Fabrication hand blown white opaline Murano glass with a β€˜pulegoso’ (flecked) effect throughout. Satin nickel plated mid century style metal base.

Hidden Features 2 bulbs, one at the base and one at the top for complete and even illumination of the ‘flute’.

DC Insider Β 2025 RRP $9,554 at Mondoluce Australia. Vistosi glass came to world prominence post WWII. They produced the modernist lighting designs by Ettore Sottsass and Angelo Mangiarotti (see below)

Our Condition Report 3/5 Very Good, Some use noted. Fully functioning. No structural faults. No marks or chips to the glass, No missing parts. A few small marks to base, only visible on close inspection.
