Lampadaire trois bras pivotants by Serge Mouille

A design evolving from 1952-9, the iconic lights by master metal worker, Serge Mouile for Editions Serge Mouille. The trois bras standing lamp known as ‘Lampadaire’ was released in 1953.

The designers inspiration A response to the overly complicated Italian light designs flooding the European market during the 1950s.

Fabrication Steel frame and arms painted black, three reflectors with exterior of black lacqueur and interior of white paint, solid brass hardware including the rotating shade joints and arm connection fittings,

Design Consigned Collector Authentic original Serge Mouille Lampadaire made in France. Authenticity verified. The original reflective white paint inside the reflectors has aged to the attractive greyish yellow patina only achieved over years.
