The fantastical, and very French, free form Ploum sofa, by design duo brothers, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, for French heritage brand Ligne Roset.

Designers Inspiration “What is real comfort ? and how can we truly maximize it ? The 1970s lifestyle showed us the way. Ploum offers the user  “The feeling of sinking into a ripe and delicious fruit”

Fabrication Steel inner frame. Ply form. Ultra soft differentiated density foam defined with dimples. Stretchable  zip on cover in French grey.

Hidden Features Ploum covers are removable, steam cleanable and reorderable.

Design Consigned Stylist A sensuous seating ‘landscape’ designed for 21st century french living. Ploum is gentle, there are no sharp corners to be encountered anywhere on its organic form. Splay in any way, that you feel so reclined on this slouch. I could go on and on about this quirky, fun and fabulously french high back sofa. Give it time, Ploum  grows on you.
