SOLD  The innovative Husk chair delivers dreamy comfort via a jumbo quilt upholstery insert that sits within a protective ‘husk’. This is the rotating base option lounge chair with snug insert and grey oak base.

Designed by Patricia Urquiola in 2011 for B&BItalia.

Fabrication Hirek® (Recycled multi layered polymer) shell in white. Removable upholstery in Fabric Antile Col- 153 (charcoal weave) sectioned and padded with self-plumping polyester fibre mix fill. Rotating base bracket in steel, solid wood legs in grey oak, plastic ferrules.

Hidden Features Recycled plastics are used to create the ‘husk’, and all husk components can be fully deconstructed for future recycling.

Design Consigned Stylist Extreme comfort is how people describe sitting in a Husk chair. In the bedroom, or living space, feel snug when inside the husk.
