Three seater Hi Bridge sofa from Molteni, designed in 2005 by architect Ferruccio Laviani, who is a major force in Italian contemporary design (b1960 in Cremona), and currently Art Director at Kartell, a position he previously held at Flos, Foscarini, De Padova and Moroso,

After graduating from the Milan Politechnic, Ferruccio apprenticed with design masters Gio Ponti and Vico Magistretti. A ten year lighting design business with Michel De Luchi followed, and then his own studio was established in 1991. Ferruccio also teaches at the Domus Design Academy.

Fabrication Solid fir wood frame, elastic comfort straps, high-bearing variable density polyurethane surround, memory foam cushion with light velvet and cotton piece covers. Removable upholstery in heavy weight Molteni linen look fabric, Colour – sand. Bright polished steel feet. Five down sectioned fill back cushions.
