Designed in 2010 for Italian brothers Nevio and Fabio Mattiazzi, founders of Mattiazzi, est 1978. The brothers set out to bring their obsession for traditional wood working into the 21st Century by developing patented robotic machinery that could replicate the look and feel of traditional hand turned wooden furniture.
Inspiration Beauty out of utility, branca, (meaning branch in Italian), is a chair inspired by the seamless curves of a branching tree.
Fabrication Sustainable European Ash, semi matt black stain.
Hidden features Stackable.
Design Consigned Stylist Elegant curved form that contrasts beautifully against white walls and straight table lines. A generous chair with a wide seat and the comfort of armrests. Won’t clash with timber tables or floors.
Design Consigned Collectors Authentic originals made by Mattiazzi Italy. Designs by Industrial Facility are represented in MOMA New York, Centre Pompidou, Paris and Helsinki Design Museum. Base embossed with brand and designer.
