Barry table by Alain Gilles for Miniforms Italy features a pill shaped top that appears to be balancing on a pair of curved steel supports.

Designed / launched by whom/when Belgian born Alain Gilles exited his career in the finance world to persue his true passion, Industrial Design. Since graduating and establishing his own Studio in 2007 Alain was awarded 2012 Designer of the Year at Belgiums Kortrijk Design Fair. Miniforms has a furniture making history based in the Veneto Region of Italy. Founder Luigi Bardini handed the company, then known as Inveta, to his three sons who have rebranded for the 21^st Century. This is a custom size L280cm order Barry Table.

Design Features The top has recessed areas where the base plate of the supports attach, to give the appearance that the top is balancing.

Fabrication Curved steel legs with matt black industrial powder coat, noce canaletto (walnut veneer) top with black underside.

Design Consigned Stylist Barry has a seductive silhouette and the matt walnut woodgrain has a beautiful visual softness and warmth. This black steel base option adds industrial edginess to Barry.

Our Condition Report 4/5 Minimal use. Top excellent. You can feel some 1mm roughness to the convex side edge of one base support where it meets the floor, facing to the center and unlikely to be noticed.
