Architects Enrico Fratesi (Italy) and Stine Gam (Denmark) founded their studio Gam Fratesi in 2006. The aptly named Beetle chair was designed in 2013 for GUBI Denmark. This comfortable dining chair has multiple upholstery options to suit all interior moods. Here we present a set of 8 Beetle chairs in classic grey with black leather trim.

Inspiration The Beetle was inspired by its namesake.

Fabrication 4 steel rod leg and base support in matt black. Timber seat and back structure with padded surround. Upholstery in Hallingdal 65 Col 166 grey with black leather piping.

Design Consigned Stylist The rounded ‘beetle’ like form can be modern, fun and daring, yet also elegant. I can personally verify these chairs are very comfortable, which is essential for successful entertaining.
