A pair of graceful ‘Afro’ stools from Flexform Italy. Solid Canaletto timber stained to an ebony colour with separate cushions in upholstery weight sandy coloured linen look. SOLD

Designed by Created in 2004 by Antonio Citterio, the Flexform ‘Afro’ Collection alludes to ‘safari luxe’ and the design follows on from the earlier Kuka stool of 1980.

Fabrication:Wanut (Canaletto), original Flexform cushions in original Flexform linen look upholstery in excellent condition.

Design Consigned Stylist:Safari luxe. Place at the foot of a bed, in a dressing room or in front of a white wall or full height window to highlight the interesting silhouette

Design Consigned insider:Canaletto is a very dark walnut of dense smooth grain. It is used to make rifle butts as the density minimizes reverberation.
