Euro King Size Siena bed designed in 2007 by Naoto Fukasawa for BBItalia. A platform bed with an open minimal appearance and reclined backrest. Fabrication Steel surround platform. European multi layered wood flex slats. Two removable tubular metal supports in bronzed nickel painted (looks black). Backrest with cold shaped rebound polyurethane foam. Polyester fibre piece cover. Removable and reorderable B&B velcro on upholstery in grey tweed look and wool feel. For mattress 180 x 200.
Design Consigned Stylist Siena looks great placed centrally, or away from the wall if the room is large this looks more visually pleasing (you would need to consider having cordless LED lamps). New covers can be ordered at trade price through Design Consigned.

Design Consigned Collectors Fukasawa is curator of the Japan Folk Crafts Museum. In 2006 he co established Super Normal – Sensations of the Ordinary with brit designer Jasper Morrison. Together they compiled 204 everyday objects of ‘super normal’ design.
