Metropolitan lounge chair released in the 1990s by New York designer Jeffrey Bernett. A welcoming, compact, open armed, rotating lounge chair with head resting comfort. Just the chair to unwind in after a big day on the stock exchange. Here we offer the Metropolitan that rotates on a glossy anthracite disc.

Fabrication Steel disc base in gloss industrial paint Col – anthracite. A rotating seat of formed wood encased with B&B Italia’s patented Bayfit® reform padding. Separate seat cushion with removable zip off cover. Upholstery in B&B multi weave fabric of mixed greys. Included is a magnetic optional headrest and a lumbar cushion, both in same and with zip off covers.

Our Condition Report 3/5 excellent vintage (that’s over ten years) Very well maintained. No marks, tears or sun fade to fabric. No seat sag. No chips or dents to base. Has been professionally steam cleaned 07/2025. Currently unused in storage.
