Design Collectors After Ettore Sottsas wound down his Memphis Design Group at the end of the 1980s, Michele De Lucchi, who had ventured into ceramics, made a statement move away from the colourful hard edged Memphis ceramic designs. He instead crafted this vessel consisting of only curves and devoid of colour. Vaso Bianco was the first commercial product for his Produzione Privata Collection. In 2004 De Lucchi added the Vaso Nero black to the collection, as a tribute to his identical twin brother, Ottorino De Lucchi. Discover more HERE

Our Condition Report 3/5 Very good vintage condition (that’s > 10 years). This is a hand made item with small imperfections such as air bubbles which are proof of the artisan, rather than factory production. A small chip to the underside edge is not seen..
