The Smoke Collection was created in 2002 by Dutch design maverick, Maarten Baas under the encouraging mentorship of moooi founder, Marcel Wanders.

Design Inspiration: Victorian era furniture charred to perfection for a new life in todays contemporary spaces.

Fabrication: Flamed solid wood finished with an epoxy resin. Upholstery in smooth black leather with traditional decorative tacks.

Hidden Features: Care kit attached underneath seat

Design Consigned Stylist: Edgy and unexpected. Invite guests to take a seat then watch their face as they realise the chair frame is charred.

Design Consigned Collector: Authentic original, made in the Netherlands by moooi. The Smoke Collection has already become a 21^st Century Design Collectible.
