The iconic outdoor dining setting from the original 1966 Leisure Collection by American furniture designer Richard Schultz. Comprises six dining chairs with armrests and one rectangular table in white.

Designed / launched by whom Richard Schultz was a designer at Florence Knoll Design studio during the mid 1960s. The Collection was later produced for the European market by B&BItalia under exclusive license from Knoll.

Inspiration An all weather extremely durable outdoor furniture collection commissioned in 1965 by Florence Knoll for her Florida coastal home.

Design Consigned Collector Made in Italy by B&B Italia. Very rare complete collector setting of American Mid Century Modern Design significance. The Leisure Collection is considered to be the first truly modern outdoor furniture design and is held in the MOMA permanent collection New York. The B&BItalia editions are much sought after.

DC Condition Report 3/5 Excellent vintage (that’s over ten years). Frames no structural faults, no chips to paint, no scratches to table top, White eat mesh slightly dulled, no holes or damage. Currently unused in storage.
