Designed in 1998, this foldout wooden candle holder became a 20^th Century Design icon. It’s creator Jonas Grundell graduated in 1986 from the Carl Malmsten Scholl of Design in Stockholm and worked both as an Interior Designer and Furniture Designer.

Inspiration: “make what is necessary and useful and if possible also make it beautiful”

Fabrication: 4 timber carved arms with black lacquer, metal candle slots, metal central hinge.
