Metropolitan lounge chair designed in the 1990s by New Yorker Jeffrey Bernett. A welcoming, compact open armed rotating lounge chair with head resting comfort. Just the chair to unwind in after a big day on Wall Street. Here we offer the Metropolitan in a smart grey weave on a glossy pivoting base.

Fabrication Steel disc base in gloss industrial paint Colour – anthracite. A rotating seat of formed wood encased with B&B Italia’s patented Bayfit® padding. Separate seat cushion with removable zip off cover. Upholstery in B&B multi yarn fabric of mixed greys. Included is a magnetic optional headrest and lumbar cushion, in same, both with removable zip off covers.

Our Condition Report 3/5 excellent vintage (that’s over ten years) Very well maintained. No marks, tears or sun fade to fabric. No seat sag. No chips or dents to base. Has been professionally steam cleaned 07/2025. Currently in storage.
