Cratis mohair carpet from B&BItalia’s house brand MAXALTO.

Designed / launched by whom/when Designed in 2012 by Franesca Simen, an in house designer employed at the B&BItalia Center for Research & Development established by B&B founder Piero Ambrogio Busnelli.

Inspiration Cratis meaning grid in Latin.

Fabrication 100% Mohair cut pile, canvas ribbon backing around edges and non slip underside. Colour is silver grey (not sure why the label says beige)

Condition Report An area of the pile (500cm sq approx) in one corner appears distorted but only when viewed from a certain angle so position this carpet accordingly. This is the nature of the luxurious 100% pure mohair pile. No other faults or marks.
