Designed / made by whom/when Designed in 1998 by famed French Contemporary Designer Philippe Starck for high-end Italian furniture manufacturer Cassina, the LWS incorporates Romeo Soft T1 reading lamps by Flos Lighting Italy.

Inspiration To ‘laze & work simultaneously’. And be even more lazy in this, the deep seat version.

Fabrication Inner steel frame, grey matt lacquered tubular steel feet and table supports, 2 x laminate side tables in white,  loose cover in dark navy linen look heavy weight fabric with self-piping, 2 x Flos hinged flex arm lamps with ivory knife pleat fabric shades. *extra shade included.

Hidden Features The Lazy Working Collection included a sofa in two seat depths, an armchair and ottoman. This is the more rare, deep seat ultra lazy, laid back version.

DC Stylist This LWS sofa in dark French navy epitomises the 1990s contemporary French avant-garde and Starck’s fantastical approach to Design. Traditional style rolled armrests and an extra deep seat so you can ‘laze’ amongst all your favourite cushions.

Design Consigned Collector Authentic original, made in Italy by Cassina. Very rare collectible, no longer in production and one of only a few brought into Australia.

Our Condition Report No faults or sign of wear to the original slip cover A faint 5cm mark to one table, both Flos lamps fully functioning (comes with a spare shade). Minor specs of rust to frame, not visible. A small tear to the frame cotton lining fabric, not visible.
