Janet armchair by Umberto Asnago for Giorgetti

Janet is an elegant armchair designed in 2020 by Umberto Asnago for Giorgetti. Janet features a polished dark walnut base supporting a ‘floating’ seat upholstered in softest magnolia velvet with quilt detailing. Sophisticated sumptuous penthouse worthy seating. Umberto Asagno (b1949 Brianza Italy) trained in wood craft and joined Giorgetti in the 1970s becoming head of the brand’s Research Center. After a time designing for other brands, Asagno returned to Giorgetti in 2011 where he was able to indulge in his true passion for designing refined furniture with wood.

Fabrication Base in hand crafted polished solid Canaletto walnut – dark (finish 2Z) . Polimex moulded seat frame with differentiated-density polyurethane foam surround. Upholstery : Category G velvet, Col – Magnolia 6280 with hexagonal quilted section.
