DC Stylist ‘Art nouveau’ style chaise originally designed for 1920s ocean liners and later popular in the coastal villas of southern France. Picasso had the rocking chair version at his home on the Cote d’Azur. Both beautiful and historically significant. Thonet is also part of Australian history with classic bentwood chairs seen in pubs and country homes. A silhouette that would look great in a contemporary Australian country home.
