A rare opportunity to secure an iconic Favela chair by Brazilian Designers, Fernando & Humberto Campana.

Designed in 2003, the inimitable Favela chair quickly acquired design icon status due to the unique ‘craft’ like construction and also a design referencing the Brazilian housing crisis as interpreted by the Campana brothers.

Design Inspiration Favelas are the timber ‘shanty’ towns of Rio, named after the local timber species used to construct them.

Fabrication Brazilian ‘pinus’ wood offcuts of graded sizes ae fixed together in a deliberately random way to create a strong and sturdy chair.
