Designed / Made / by / when Flo is a Collection of five seating styles by Patricia Urquiola (stool , low stool, lounge chair, carver and high back dining chair) The Collection was released in 2004 by Italian furniture company Driade.

Inspiration The artisanal organic FLO Collection was inspired by Patricia Urquiola’s Spanish background and childhood summers spent by the sea. Her Designs are always original and unexpected ensuring her continued success as the world’s leading female contemporary designer.

Fabrication Blackened solid round steel frame over woven with a natural dye flattened wicker in the ancient Neolithic ‘lozenge’ pattern, signifying female fertility.
