Designed by whom/when: The 412 Cab chair was designed in 1977 by Italian Architect, and 8 time recipient of the prestigious Compass d’Oro Award, Mario Bellini. The unique Design comprises 16 individual leather pieces hand sewn together with exposed edge seams and fitted to a steel frame.
Inspiration: A steel ‘skeleton’ encased entirely in a leather ‘skin’ that aquires a unique character over time.
Fabrication: Enamelled steel frame, seat and back padding, exposed hand stitched cuoio (saddlery) leather cover. Col: Talpa (darkest brown), black floor glides.
Hidden Features: Stackable, durable, easy to maintain, and child friendly.
