The Designer’s Inspiration In 2005 Patricia Urquiola approached B&BItalia with the idea of re visiting the traditional upholstery technique of ‘capitonne’ (deep buttoning as used on traditional Chesterfield sofas) to create a seating system more suited for 21^st Century living.
