Authentic vintage circa 1990 Chanel Flap bag 11.12. Medium 20cm x 16cm

Designed in 1955 by Coco Chanel and made by the House of Chanel, the Flap bag is an iconic design considered to be the pinnacle of handbag collectibles, with exquisite craftsmanship, sophisticated style and timeless elegance. In 1983 Karl Lagerfeld updated the Flap Bag lock to the interlocking CC logo.

Inspiration Coco Chanel created the freedom of wearing a shoulder bag. She was inspired by military document satchels.

Fabrication Black diamond quilted ‘caviar leather’ (water resistant grained calfskin) Burgundy leather interior, black leather and gold chain link straps, gold plated interlocking CC turn-lock fastening, Embossed CC logo inside flap.
