Overview

A full refund of the purchase price upon return of the item to us is our policy. If we haven’t heard from you within 3 days of receiving your order, we are not obliged to provide a refund.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be returned to us in the same condition as when you purchased it. 

Discounted items are not eligible for refunds or returns.

Please do not send your purchase back. We will advise and book the preferred courier.

There are certain situations where refunds are not granted:

  • obvious deterioration in condition 
  • the original packaging we used for the delivery has not been retained and returned.
  • There are missing parts not due to our error.
  • More than 3 days has passed since the item was delivered.

Refunds

Once your item is returned and inspected, we will send you an email notifying you of the approval and request deposit details for your refund.

We only process refunds via EFT.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet, it can take up to 10 days.

Then contact your banking provider as it may take time for the deposit to be processed.

Sale items

Sale category items are not eligible for return or refund.

Exchanges

We do not offer product exchanges.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you as a gift. you’ll need to notify the person who purchased it.

Shipping returns

To return your product for refund, you should only use the trusted courier as booked by Design Consigned

You will be responsible for paying the return shipping costs. The initial delivery cost is also non-refundable. The cost of the return shipping will be deducted from your refund and invoice provided as proof.

If you are returning more expensive or fragile items, you may be required to use a trackable shipping service or purchase transit insurance. Design Consigned will not be held liable if your returned item does not arrive back to us safely.
