Designed by whom/when: Working as a young 24 yr old Architect apprenticed to Le Corbusier’s Parisian atelier in1927, Charlotte Perriand created this modern swivel chair for her own apartment. It was exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Decorateurs in 1928 after which it became known as the LC7, part of the iconic LC Collection.

DC Insider:These chairs are from the 2016 re release by Cassina incorporating an updated structure and CATAS certification. Cassina negotiated the exclusive production licence for the LC Collection in 1964.

The older it gets, the better it looks. This bitter chocoloate leather is the highest premium grade available, and you can tell. It’s especially nice with timber floors.
