Framed kick poster by Bernard Villemot for Bally

Original c1989 framed Bally kick poster printed by Villemot France. Largest size 130cm x 175cm.

Artist Bernard Villemot (1911-1989) was most noted for his promotional posters for Swiss heritage brand Bally which he designed and printed from the early 1950s until 1989. He also created posters for Perrier and Air France.

Fabrication Colour Lithograph on poster weight paper. Black timber frame, Perspex facing.

DC Stylist Possibly the most recognised and iconic brand posters of the second half of the 20th century. The glamorous Bally beauty flirts with the viewer as she kicks up her designer heel which is shadowed by a mans shoe. Suitable for both residential and commercial applications.

Condition Report Colours are still fresh and there is no damage. or marks to the poster. Black timber frame is also in excellent condition much like new. Perspex facing in excellent condition with no noted scratches.

Design Consigned Collectors A rare original 1989 licensed Villemot poster displaying verified authenticity markings. Symbolic of 1980s fashion and style. No longer in production.

Provenance One owner, purchased framed in Australia 1990. Excellent vintage condition.
