Yellow twiggy floor lamp by Marc Sadler for Foscarini Italy. 

Designed / launched by whom/when:Designed in 2005 by Industrial Designer Marc Sadler and produced by Italian light makers Foscarini.

Inspiration:Innovative technologies and experimental aerodynamics combine to create a playful design combining three monochromatic ‘shapes’ in three ‘techno’ finishes.

Fabrication:Coated fibreglass composite material shade, PMMA polycarbonate arc, coated metal aluminium base. 3 x retrofit lamp fitting 77W E27.

Design Consigned Stylist:Introduce a shot of yellow into your ‘scene’. The flat yellow disc base makes a big yellow dot on neutral floors while from a distance the diffuser suspended on the seemingly too slim graduated arc defies the eye. This lamp casts a warm ambient glow adding plenty of atmosphere.

Design Consigned Collector:Authentic original, made in Italy by Foscarini. Rare yellow edition no longer available.
