Inspiration A straw basket spotted whilst on summer holiday reminded designer Patricia Urquiola of the traditional octagonal woven cane seat inserts of vintage Thonet chairs. The concept was overscaled in weatherproof texturized polyethylene fibre ribbons.

Fabrication Durable aluminium frame with powdercoat finish. High tech sturdy polyethylene woven ribbons in col: bronzed charcoal. Polyurethane inner outdoor seat cushion in fabric Agate col: 100 with piping detail and coordinating back cushions. *Covers removable and reorderable.
