Designed / launched by whom/when:Gianfranco Frattini was a Milanese Architect who graduated from the Milan Politecnico and was apprecticed to Gio Ponti. He designed buildings, interiors and furniture for Cassina and many others.
Inspiration:1980s Italian Memphis Design era
Fabrication:Pair of extruded aluminium columns in gloss lacquer – ivory white. Black rubber coated metal circular base.
Hidden Features:Sliding dimmer switch.
Design Consigned Stylist:Create ‘molto’ atmosphere with this original Memphis style 1980s uplight.
Design Consigned Collector: Original, only one owner, 1980 floor lamp made in Italy by Artemide. Fully operational. Rare ivory colour from original production, no longer available. New globe (from Bunnings) installed and functioning. Condition is 3/5 due to a crack in the base (only seen upon close inspection). No scratches or chips or damage to the light column itself.
