Alwa by Sebastian Herkner for Pulpo

‘Alwa’ is a formed poured glass side table by Sebastian Herkner for Pulpo. The ‘art’ of glass design. 

Designed by:German designer Sebastian Herkner is busy creating some amazing design objects that narrow the gap between art and functional design.
Created in 2015, the Alwa is technically a side table, but is more like a glass sculpture. It is sure to draw comment.

Fabrication:Pure liquid glass is poured into a 50mm thick mould and allowed to solidify. Bubbles remain creating a unique water effect.
