Good design is timeless and our online platform is where you can browse and buy, or consign to sell, privately owned authentic Design.
For our Consignors [sellers] think of Design Consigned as a matchmaker for your design objects. Listing is free, a profile is created and selling price set using your reserve plus Design Consigned’s expertise and market knowledge.
Your object is then presented in our online store where buyers can browse and buy from the comfort of home. We also feature new designs in our monthly subscriber newsletter and on social media where design lovers are looking.
Please allow a reasonable period of time to find ‘the one’ for your object. Once a match is made, Design Consigned handles the receipt of payment, plus packing, booking and delivery to the buyer in the most suitable and safest way, as it is in our interest to make sure each object arrives safely to the buyer.
Design Consigned will then forward 75% (70% with storage) of the sale to the seller. Throughout the entire process seller and buyer identities remain undisclosed. Payments are reconciled at the end of each month.
As a Consignee [buyer] you can secure authentic designs at discounted prices and help the environment at the same time by purchasing or specifying our preowned objects for your home, as a gift, or for a design project. Browse by category or brand to make your selection easier. Please be advised orders not paid in full within 2 days will be automatically cancelled. If the item arrives and is not as described contact info@designconsigned.com.au within 3 days to arrange a return for refund. No refunds on customer pick ups, or items in the Sale Category.
Design Consigned offers only authentic original designs and our prices are subjective, based on current desirability, global market value, and condition. Design Consigned conveniently quotes and arranges the most suitable delivery method to save you the hassle and minimise unnecessary stress and expense.
