The Designer’s Inspiration In 2005 Patricia Urquiola approached B&BItalia with the idea of reimagining the traditional upholstery technique of ‘capitonne’ (deep buttoning as seen on traditional Chesterfield sofas) with a desire to create a something more suited for 21^st Century living.

Design Consigned Stylist The ultimate design statement, a Tufty Time for your coastal retreat or urban concrete casa. Infinite configurations are possible to suit every occasion. Back to back, looking both to the view and the fire, create micro settings, create a stand alone chaise. The fabric is tactile, lustrous and visually interesting, best described as silvery lichen green but the appearance will vary depending on the lighting.
